- 'Kiro TV', whose lyrics explicitly address the life and career of Kurt Cobain, contains a sly interpolation of the main riff from Nirvana's 'Come As You Are', which itself borrowed heavily from Killing Joke's song 'Eighties'.
- 'Loretta Young Silks' samples Bill Withers' 'I Wish You Well'.
- 'The Fuel' samples 'Following Kirwell' and 'Irina's Chase' from the original 'Gorky Park' film O.S.T.
- 'Bloodsport' samples 'Tar' by Visage.
- 'Blue Movie' samples 'Canaan's Land' (traditional) by The Keynotes.
- 'Small Town Witch' samples 'Nightclubbing' by Iggy Pop.
